When he arrived back at Station Square, Rock headed for the train station. As he spoke to the man behind the counter, Swindle watched him from a distance. "It will be here in one hour sir." said the man to Rock. "Thank you." smiled Rock as he turned to sit down on the nearby bench. Swindle smiled and muttered, "Too bad that you'll miss your train!" Rock waited and said to Zappy "Half a day on a train, then another on a bus. It beats walking!" Suddenly Zappy noticed Swindle and chirpped a warning to Rock. Rock spotted the scorpion who cursed "Blast!" As he tried to run away, a hail of arrows fell onto both him and Rock. "Yeow!" jumped Rock as Swindle made a run for it. Suddenly Romana dropped down from a high perch and cursed at Swindle "Get back here, bug!" Rock could smell that Romana had been drinking and cursed "What was that for?!" "That coward was trying to get you to leave the station and chase him about!" snorted Romana, standing there as if ready for a fight, "He made me miss my train yesterday! I told that gator that I miss the train because of him and he was gunning to do the same with you!" "Heading to Rust-Rock Canyon?" asked Rock. "Yeah, then the Desert Refinory." snorted Romana, pulling out a bottle of wiskey and drinking half of it before offering some to Rock, "Want a swig?" "Nah." said Rock shaking his head, "I'm good. But it does explain why I was given four days to get to the Desert Refinory." Just then, the train pulled into the station and Rock said "We'd better get on before Swindle does something else." "Whatever." snorted Romana. They boarded the train and a few moments later the train started to pull out. Swindle watched the train pull away and cursed, "Blast you Drunken Rat! Lucky for me, I have another way to get there before you two and I will make you both get a double DQ!" As he turned to walk away, he was being watched. Rhine kept an eye on him as he exited the station and said to her flicky "You know Wrathven, this guy needs to be shown his place. But it's too early such a thing and we've better things to do." Wrathven cawed at Rhine before she left the station.
